The Frost School of Music therapy faculty members are distinguished, award-winning scholars in the music therapy profession. They are committed to conducting and disseminating research designed to increase understanding of how the human brain and body perceive and respond to musical stimuli and to develop and explore the efficacy of music-based assessments and interventions. Their research has been published in music therapy and non-music therapy journals and books, covering topics from work productivity to infant-directed singing to emotion regulation development.
